Union Securities was incorporated as a private limited company on June 7, 2001 and registered at Lahore, Punjab province. On its formation, the Company acquired the trading rights of Muhammad Ismail Mughal, Member Islamabad Stock Exchange, and thereafter acquired the trading rights of Lahore Stock Exchange on 2 December,2002. Later, after the merger of Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad stock exchanges into Pakistan Stock Exchange, the Company acquired the trading right certificate of Pakistan Stock Exchange #324 in 2016. The Company is engaged in the trading of stocks and shares and to act as brokers for the same activity for its clients.

Muhammad Ismail Mughal, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company holds a M. Com degree from Hailey College of Commerce, Punjab University Lahore and is a senior member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and Pakistan and a major shareholder in the Company. He has long term experience of share trading in the London Stock Market and KSE, and later entered the Pakistan Stock Market as an elected founding member of the Islamabad Stock Exchange on 25 June, 1992 and started trading under the trade name “MUHAMMAD ISMAIL MUGHAL Member Islamabad Stock Exchange” in Islamabad. Later, Union Securities (PVT) Limited was incorporated on June 7, 2001 at Lahore and the trading rights were transferred to the Company. Further, after the merger of Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad Stock exchanges, under the Corporatization, Demutualization, and Integration Act, 2012, Pakistan Stock Exchange “PSX” was formed and a new Trading Right Entitlement Certificate (TREC) issued by PSX was obtained. The Company now continues to trade as a TREC holder of Pakistan Stock Exchange.
